1. Who We Are
FlyThru L.L.C. (Commercial License 12061/2019) is a home check-in service provider based in the State of Kuwait. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide when using our services or platforms. Contact us at info@flythru.net.
2. What Data We Collect
- Identity data: Full name. Before we take your bags, your FlyThru agent checks your travel document at your door and records your nationality, your passport expiry date, and your visa expiry where the destination requires one. We do not store your passport number. After 180 days we erase the passport and visa details from these checks and keep only the outcome with your booking record: whether the check passed, any written reason for an exception, the agent who checked and when.
- Contact data: Phone number, email address, pickup address.
- Booking data: Flight details, booking reference, baggage information, seat preferences, your Jazeera booking reference (PNR) if you give us one, and your PACI civil address number if you give us one.
- Payment data: Payment method type and transaction reference (card details are processed securely by our payment provider and not stored by us).
- Usage data: How you interact with our website and platforms.
- Location data (FlyThru app only, and only if you choose to): if you tap “Use my current location” or drag the pin on the pickup map, we store those coordinates with that booking so your agent can find your door. The app never reads your location in the background, and the whole booking works without it.
- Device data (FlyThru app only): if you turn on notifications, we store a notification token for your device so we can tell you when your agent is on the way. You can turn notifications off at any time in your phone’s settings.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To confirm and process your booking.
- To verify your identity at pickup in accordance with airport security requirements.
- To share necessary information with Jazeera Airways to complete your check-in.
- To contact you regarding your booking, changes, or service updates.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations under Kuwaiti law.
- To send you booking updates through the FlyThru app, if you have turned notifications on.
- To improve our services and platforms.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
- Jazeera Airways: Required to process your check-in and issue your boarding pass.
- Airport security authorities: As required by aviation law.
- Payment processors: To securely handle transactions.
- Law enforcement: If required by applicable law or court order.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve any disputes. Booking records are typically retained for a minimum of 3 years.
6. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To request deletion of your account and personal data, use flythru.net/delete-account. It needs no sign-in and works even if you have already uninstalled the app. You can also request it from the account screen inside the FlyThru app, or contact us at info@flythru.net. Either way we reply on WhatsApp within three working days to confirm it is you, and complete the deletion within thirty days at the latest, keeping only the booking and payment records the law requires us to hold.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. We comply with Kuwaiti data protection law (Law No. 63 of 2015) and, where applicable, follow international standards including GDPR principles.
8. Cookies & Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to improve your browsing experience and understand how visitors use our site. If you sign in to your optional FlyThru account, we set a secure sign-in cookie so you stay signed in on your device; signing out removes it. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
